If you suffer from panic attacks and don’t have an effective way to deal with them, it can feel like you’re facing up to a life of stress, frustration and misery. But there is an answer.
Hypnotherapy for panic attacks has proven to be a highly effective solution for people like you who know only too well how severe anxiety symptoms such as chest pain, a dizzy feeling, heart palpitations or rising feelings of fear can lead to a panic attack.
Treating people for panic attacks with hypnotherapy is an area in which I specialise, and if you’d like me to, I can work with you to change the way you respond to stressful situations, too.
I look forward to helping you be calmer and more relaxed.

Panic attacks don’t always ‘advertise’ themselves as a fully-fledged panic attack – they can range from relatively mild to severe and you might not even have realised you were having one. But panic attacks have one thing in common – they are deeply unpleasant and can adversely affect your everyday life.
What makes it all the more debilitating is that you often know that you are in no real danger with a panic attack – but you just can’t ‘talk yourself down’ into a calmer, more relaxed state.
Anxiety disorders and severe stress of the kind that leads to panic and anxiety attacks can often be greatly diminished or even neutralised by clinical hypnosis. As a trained Clinical Hypnotherapist, I can help people using relaxation techniques and the latest hypnotherapeutic methods that are designed to reduce the underlying anxiety that leads to the panic attack.
On this page, we cover lots of information about anxiety symptoms and how hypnotherapy can help. The sessions that I offer can be held in my London hypnotherapy clinic or in Hampshire. I also conduct many 1-1 online hypnotherapy sessions – and these are every bit as effective as when your session is conducted in person.
In most cases, just one or two sessions are enough.
If you would like book in your free 20-minute initial consultation, please just get in touch via freephone 0800 122 3073, or fill in the quick contact form. I’ll also be delighted to send you my free one-hour download called the ‘Accelerated Relaxation Programme’, which I used to sell for £17.99.
I look forward to helping you to move on from panic attacks.

Panic attacks normally have their roots in an emotional event of some kind – something difficult from your past. They can also be triggered by a lack of sleep or because of excessive drink or drugs.
They begin with emotions like fear or anxiety and rapidly become physical – with sensations such as hot flushes, chest pain, a tightness in the chest or shortness of breath.
You hyperventilate, which can rapidly make you feel like you are losing control. This makes you even more scared – and the cycle repeats, getting worse each time.
The list of physical symptoms that people with a panic disorder may experience is a long one. Common symptoms also include:
Some people who suffer from panic attacks have them very rarely – literally a few times in their lives. When they are more frequent, however, therapy can help give people coping mechanisms for the anxiety that leads to the attack, and can also neutralise or ‘dial down’ the effect of traumatic events.
I’ve found that one of the most effective options is hypnotherapy, which can be very helpful and has a high success rate when it comes to anxiety disorders of this kind. It can help to reduce the intense anxiety that you feel, and equip you with coping strategies that provide a much more positive outlook.
The tools I use are incredibly powerful and effective, and include Havening and NLP. I have used these to help people during thousands of in-person and online hypnotherapy sessions.
It’s possible for you to overcome the distressing feelings associated with panic attacks and to feel calmer and more in control. This is an outcome that is incredibly attractive to anyone with an anxiety disorder of any kind – and it is often very achievable in just one or two sessions of hypnosis.
That’s the big advantage of hypnotherapy over other types of treatment: it’s quick. I believe that speed is of the essence when helping people, and most people see dramatic improvement very quickly. We will work with you to try and create lasting change.
Before treatment starts, you’ll complete a simple questionnaire and make a note of any times and places where you feel the kind of extreme anxiety that leads to a panic attack. This enables us to design your treatment specifically for you.
Throughout your session or sessions, you will feel relaxed and comfortable. There is no physical contact, and you’ll be conscious throughout. It’s one of the many reasons that online hypnosis works just as well as when seeing clients face to face.
We will gently guide you through the powerful techniques to enable you to potentially remove your fear from its roots. We will also give you some incredibly useful resources that you can use at any time to make you feel more calm and more in control.
Hypnotherapy makes it possible to feel the way you once did in the past – back in the days before panic attacks had started to become a problem for you.
The first thing we’ll do is have a complimentary exploratory phone call, lasting up to 20 minutes. Before your actual session, you’ll fill in a detailed questionnaire that will help me understand your history and patterns of panic attacks.
Over the course of your 90-minute session, you will feel calm and in control, and I’ll use a combination of the most effective modern and classic hypnotherapeutic tools and techniques.
Hopefully, you now feel reassured about the hypnotherapy process – and feel ready to take the next step to become more confident and calmer. My highly professional approach means that, in most cases, you’ll need only a single session or a couple of sessions to be able to cope with or eliminate panic attacks.
Each session will be 90-minutes long. This means we achieve so much more than you can in the traditional 50-minute ‘therapy hour’ that most therapists provide.

I will put 100% effort into working with you and the techniques that I use are very powerful. As with all therapy types, success varies from client to client and there can be no guarantees. In fact, I’d recommend running a mile from a hypnotherapist who says they offer a guarantee.

Here’s to helping you learn how to cope with anxiety and to reduce or eliminate your number of panic attacks.
If you have tried a psychologist, counselling, or any other kind of therapy, hypnotherapy for panic attacks offers an alternative. Or perhaps you are just looking for fast results?
Hypnotherapy works by 'rewiring' the mind so that it changes the way it reacts to whatever is bothering you. As an example, it can stop the brain from going into panicky 'fight or flight' mode when you're standing up to present to a group of people.
Experience: I have now completed more than 5,000 hypnotherapy sessions with clients.
Approach: I am personable and focused, and I only want to work with people I wholeheartedly believe I can help.
Training: Before I saw my very first client, I had completed more than 1,000 hours of training. As I have added new tools to my skillset, this has now increased to more than 2,000 hours.
Results: I am highly results focused and want you to feel like you can move on from whatever is holding you back in the fewest possible sessions.
As well as clinical hypnotherapy, the four main tools at my disposal are Havening, Time Line Therapy, NLP and TFT.
I have enjoyed considerable success with all of these, both individually and in various combinations.
Given the current cost of living crisis, I am offering 10% off my standard fee. A potentially life-changing 1-1 session with me today costs just £290 +VAT per 90-minute session (most hypnotherapists' sessions are only 50 minutes long).
There is no extra fee for my pre-prep work, such as my analysis of your pre-session briefing questionnaire.
Additionally, every new client benefits from a free 20-minute consultation by phone.
Booking is easy – please just fill in the contact form, or call me on freephone 0800 122 3073.
