As part of my ‘Cost of Living Crisis’ promotion, I’m reducing my fees by 10% to only £290 + VAT per session. I have very limited availability and if you’d like to know more about how I may be able to help you, please get in touch now.
If you are one of the millions of people who are affected by anxiety, you'll know how badly it can affect your wellbeing and quality of life.
What you may not know is that hypnotherapy has a proven track record when it comes to helping people with anxiety.
That’s because hypnotherapy, which is one of many alternative treatment options, comes at things from a new angle. It seeks to ‘rewire’ the brain so that the things that once bothered you no longer do so – or not as profoundly as they once did.
Anxiety doesn’t just spontaneously change. And unless you do something about it, it’s highly likely you’ll stay the same as you are now. If I could give you some reassurance, though, it’s that you can do something about your stress and anxiety. It can also be done quickly, and hypnotherapy for anxiety disorders may well be able to help you.
Hypnotherapy can help with a variety of anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), and also with specific anxieties such as a fear of public speaking. It can also help people who are struggling with the most extreme forms of stress and anxiety, like panic attacks and phobias.
I look forward to helping you be calmer and more relaxed.

Over the past decade, I have provided safe, effective hypnotherapy to thousands of people and gained over 100 five-star reviews in the process.
Clinical hypnotherapy can help you overcome your fears, your worries, and it can stop you catastrophising and playing out worst-case scenarios in your head.
Using hypnosis as an anxiety treatment is quick, too. Most of my clients need just two sessions – either online or face-to-face. The results are exactly the same whether you choose in-person or online hypnotherapy sessions.
The NHS defines anxiety as "a feeling of unease, such as worry or fear, that can be mild or severe."
They note that everyone feels anxious some of the time, but that anxiety becomes an issue when worry starts to take over your life.
In the simplest possible terms, anxiety arises when you are faced with something that your mind perceives to be a threat.
This could be something you are frightened of, money problems, health issues, or anything else that causes profound worry. Childhood trauma is a common cause, too.
Hypnotherapy can help in many cases.
Hypnotherapy is a type of alternative therapy that uses hypnosis to lead someone to a heightened state of concentration and attention.
This is quick and painless and can be achieved either in person or online.
During the process, people often report that they feel very relaxed and that they are more open to suggestion than they would normally be.
Once you are in the appropriate trance-like state, your hypnotherapist will try and help you to achieve positive behavioural changes.
Anxiety UK states that hypnosis allows the subject (the person who is being treated) to experience "often quite deep levels of relaxation and so helps to reduce levels of stress and anxiety."
Verywellmind, meanwhile, says that: "Your hypnotherapist may make gentle suggestions for behaviour changes that can help you conquer your issue."
Based on our own experience and many thousands of hours of training, we believe that the key to successful hypnotherapy for anxiety treatment lies in the client's openness to change and the therapist's skill at helping them find new responses to the things that have been challenging them.
To start tackling your stress and anxiety with hypnosis, just drop me a line using the contact form. I offer a free initial consultation so that you can decide if hypnotherapy is for you, plus I’ll also send you a free one-hour download called The Anxiety Relaxation Programme that I used to sell for £17.99.
Additionally, and because treating anxiety with hypnosis techniques is so important in today’s challenging world to help promote positive change, I am currently offering 10% off my standard fees.
I look forward to helping you be calmer and more relaxed.

Covid has made anxiety even worse, with reports showing that it is now at record levels. If left untreated, it can develop into a severe panic disorder that can seriously affect your life.
The good news is that hypnotherapy for anxiety is a fast, effective treatment. It can help you to feel calmer and more in control.
It works by helping you to stabilise and ‘dial down’ your anxiety – and, as a result, lets you do things that you’ve been avoiding or have been struggling with. I can say this with confidence, because for years I’ve successfully helped people to overcome their anxiety in private, one-to-one sessions every week.
These take place either at my London hypnotherapy practice, in my office in Winchester (Hampshire) or online. The choice is yours, and each method is equally effective.
As stated earlier, hypnotherapy is a type of guided therapy that helps people to achieve a state of calm and focus. During a session, people may be more open to changes about how they respond to things.
Contrary to common myth, there is no pocket watch to gaze at before being 'put under'. Nor are you under your hypnotherapist's control.
People who have been to see a clinical hypnotherapist tend to report that they felt calm and in control throughout.
Importantly, they also noted their ability to adjust their response to certain things that have been bothering them.
The skill of the hypnotherapist in guiding people through these changes is, therefore, critical.
Anxiety is regulated by a part of your brain called the amygdala. It reacts to events that it rightly or wrongly perceives to be threatening. And you can’t simply turn this response off just by thinking about it or applying logic to it – because logic is regulated by a different part of the brain.
When anxiety strikes, a reaction called the amygdala hijack automatically and unconsciously takes over.
As soon as this happens, your ‘fight, flight or freeze’ response is instantly activated. The amygdala uses past memories and associations to determine whether or not you should respond in the most primal way possible – namely to attack, run away, or make yourself as small and invisible as you can.
Unfortunately, this reaction is often completely disproportionate to the ‘threat’ at hand.
One of the key benefits of hypnotherapy is that it is highly customised.
Unlike medication, which tends to be a one-size-fits-all solution once your GP has decided on appropriate treatment, an experienced clinical hypnotherapist will tailor your session to your precise needs.
This is exactly what we do for each client, with each session preceded by a free 20-minute consultation and a detailed questionnaire.
Other benefits of hypnotherapy include:
Hypnotherapy works well with other types of therapy, such as mindfulness and relaxation techniques.
When you sign up for a hypnotherapy session for anxiety at Fix My Mind, you're making a clear statement to yourself – and any loved ones you care to inform – that you're ready to change.
Hypnotherapy can be viewed as part of a wider, holistic approach to managing your wellbeing, including other lifestyle changes such as diet and nutrition, fitness, breathing exercises and more.
Anxiety has many faces, and while different types of anxiety may appear quite distinct, they always come back to a fear or trauma of some kind.
For that reason, the anxiety hypnotherapy we offer is applicable across all kinds of anxiety, including:
Rest assured, however, that your treatment will be 100% tailored to your unique circumstances.
Related to anxiety, we also offer specific treatment options for people who have PTSD, phobias, panic attacks and confidence issues.
The hypnotherapy techniques that I use target the amygdala directly, which is why they work for anxiety. They can be brilliantly effective methods at changing your unconscious response to things – helping you to remain calm, relaxed and in control.
During clinical hypnosis for anxiety, the events that currently trigger your anxiety are neutralised. They lose their emotional power to impact you.
Because of this, you stop reacting in the way that you once did to the trigger event(s), meaning you feel calmer and more in control.
I will also give you some tools that can help you to dial down how you feel on an ongoing basis. We’ll enable you to change what you’re saying to yourself in your head, too, and also to change how you’re feeling. I’ll give you some really useful relaxation techniques, too.
It all adds up to you feeling calm, reducing the risk of a panic attack and enabling you to be better able to cope if you find your anxiety levels rising in the future.
Hypnotherapy for anxiety can also relieve associated symptoms, such as feelings of losing control in a stressful situation (or even daily life) and fear of specific events, people and locations. You’ll feel better equipped to shake off your fears and enter a more relaxed state whenever you need to.
The first thing we’ll do is have a complimentary exploratory phone call, lasting up to 20 minutes.
Before your actual session, you’ll fill in a detailed questionnaire that will help me understand your history and patterns of anxiety. This allows me to tailor your treatment plan.
Over the course of your 90-minute session, you will feel calm and in control, and I’ll use a combination of the most effective modern and classic hypnotherapeutic tools and techniques.
Hopefully, you now feel reassured about the hypnotherapy process – and feel ready to take the next step to become calmer. My highly professional approach means that, in most cases, you’ll need only a couple of sessions to be better.
Each session will be 90-minutes long. This means we achieve so much more than you can in the traditional 50-minute ‘therapy hour’ that most therapists provide. For many clients, online hypnotherapy sessions are the quickest and easiest way to address a specific problem and to get the treatment they need.
I’m currently reducing my fees by 10% to only £290 + VAT per session. I have very limited availability and if you’d like to know more about how I may be able to help you, then do get in touch now.
I will put 100% effort into working with you and the techniques that I use are very powerful. As with all therapy types, success varies from client to client and there can be no guarantees. In fact, I’d recommend running a mile from a hypnotherapist who says they offer a guarantee.
If you’d like to start your journey towards a calmer you then just call freephone 0800 122 3073. Or please fill out my contact form to arrange an appointment. You’ll also get your free one-hour download to help you relax.
Here’s to you being calmer!
Hypnotherapy works by 'rewiring' the mind so that it changes the way it reacts to whatever is bothering you. As an example, it can stop the brain from going into panicky 'fight or flight' mode when you're in a stressful situation.
It provides a safe haven from anxiety, stress and trauma, and in many cases can eradicate the response you want to get rid of completely. In other cases, even being able to 'dial down' the response can make a significant difference to how well you are able to cope with life.
There are four main reasons people book a session with me over other hypnotherapists.
Experience: I have now completed more than 5,000 hypnotherapy sessions with clients from all over the UK and further afield.
Approach: I am personable and focused, and I only want to work with people I wholeheartedly believe I can help.
Training: Before I saw my very first client, I had completed more than 1,000 hours of training. As I have added new tools to my skillset, this has now increased to more than 2,000 hours.
Results: I am highly results focused and want you to feel like you can move on from whatever is holding you back in the fewest possible sessions.
This depends on your background and what we have used in previous sessions for anxiety, if applicable. As well as clinical hypnotherapy, the four main tools at my disposal are Havening, Time Line Therapy, NLP and TFT.
I have enjoyed considerable success with all of these, both individually and in various combinations.
Given the current cost of living crisis, I am offering 10% off my standard fee. A potentially life-changing 1-1 session with me today costs just £290 +VAT per 90-minute session (most hypnotherapists' sessions are only 50 minutes long).
There is no extra fee for my pre-prep work, such as my analysis of your pre-session briefing questionnaire.
Additionally, every new client benefits from a free 20-minute consultation by phone.
Booking is easy – please just fill in the contact form, or call me on freephone 0800 122 3073.
